How can you support CIDO
CIDO is a non-profit community radio service and a registered in B.C. Society that operates on donations, memberships, sponsorships and volunteer labour. We have only one full-time employee, Alan Armstrong and one part-time bookkeeper/office administrator as paid staff. All other programming, maintenance, development and other operations are performed by volunteers.
Creston Valley Community Radio is a labour of love by people in our community for the people in our community. CIDO is the only public media that serves the Creston Valley on a daily basis with timely information. Much of CIDO's publc service announcement (PSA) content is provided free to community service groups that benefit from the publicity and exposure CIDO provides, in many cases at no cost. CIDO promotes local artists of all kinds and features local musicans as much as possible.
No donation is too large; we encourage you to dig deep. One of CIDO's primary goals is to increase coverage and grow the listening audience with a stronger signal and more quality programming. CIDO needs financial support from the community it serves.
